Use this to: pick a manageable priority when everything feels urgent.
Try it
- List the things competing for attention. Keep the list outside your head.
- Check deadlines and consequences. What actually needs action today? What can wait, and who needs to know?
- Match the plan to your capacity. Choose a small next step for the necessary task and arrange help or more time if it will not fit.
- Park the rest. Give deferred tasks a place or a review time.
Example
A bill is due today, a friend has sent a nonurgent message, and a cupboard needs organizing. You pay the bill, leave the cupboard, and set a reminder to reply when you have more room.
Your next step: Name one priority, one next step, and one thing you are deliberately leaving for later.
