Find What Is Keeping Your Attention on Duty

Use this to: identify one responsibility you keep monitoring and arrange support for it.

Try it

  1. Name what you are tracking. Include checking, reminding, anticipating, or staying ready to respond.
  2. Identify what monitoring is actually needed. Consider real safety needs, deadlines, and agreed responsibilities.
  3. Choose a way to share or externalize it. A named person, written plan, reminder, or agreed check-in may help.
  4. Specify when attention is required. Make the arrangement clear enough that you know what is covered.

Example

You spend the day checking whether a shared task is finished. You agree who owns it, when it is due, and when they will report a problem. A scheduled update replaces repeated checking.

Your next step: Write: “I keep tracking …. The support or agreement I need is ….”
