Use this to: identify the source of strain and choose care that addresses it.
Try it
- Name what you notice. For example: tired, overstimulated, lonely, resentful, or unable to decide.
- Look at what is contributing. Consider demands, sensory input, basic needs, recovery, and available help.
- Match the response to the need. Loneliness may call for company; overload may call for fewer demands; unequal work may call for a different agreement.
Example
You plan to add an evening meditation because you feel depleted. Looking closer, you are spending every evening organizing family appointments. Asking someone to take over appointment scheduling may address more of the strain.
Your next step: Finish: “The main source of strain seems to be …. One change that addresses it is ….”
