Use this to: identify which part of a life change is hardest to adjust to.
Try it
- Name the main change. A move, job change, loss, boundary, or changing relationship.
- Look at what changed with it. Consider routine, role, connection, identity, future expectations, and practical work.
- Choose the part affecting you most. Be specific enough to name what is missing or newly demanding.
Example
After leaving a job, you miss more than the work. You also lost a regular lunchtime conversation and a predictable start to the day. Naming those losses helps you see why an empty morning feels difficult.
Your next step: Finish: “The part I most need support with is …. What I miss or need is ….”
